We are looking for a BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST III - QUALITY who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.
Education: bachelor’s degree in health care related area, statistics, or computer systems.. Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for four years progressive relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare data related field with at least four years of SQL experience. Significant and demonstrated experience with advanced data reporting and analysis methods, data management and query tools including the use of Toad, SSMS, SSRS, Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, Python, or other similar tools required. Exposure to value-based care analytics, Pay-for-Performance or Shared Savings performance tracking, HEDIS Measures and financial projections modeling is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expert understanding of health benefits, medical terminology, medical procedures, and managed care industry; expertise with CPT, ICD and other coding systems; demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and research ability as evidenced by experience in the identification of requirements and the definition, evaluation, and selection of appropriate solutions to business problems or opportunities. Ability to pivot and respond quickly with complicated ad hoc analyses of claims expense, membership, and provider performance. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability for turning complicated verbal requests into reports and queries; ability to interpret complex data results and effectively summarize information that can be easily translated into company action. Must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with good organizational and time management skills. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines. Must be proficient in MS-Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point) Familiarity with Medicaid quality programs, health plan performance metrics, and NCQA standards preferred. Ability to translate quality program requirements into dashboard specifications and analytic products. Experience working with cross-functional teams including quality, finance, and operations. Understanding of intervention effectiveness evaluation methods and gap closure analytics.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

The compensation for this position is $94,600.00 - $126,200.00 annually. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting. Colorado Access may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’
