  • Perform thorough testing and validation of all new and updated reports, including data reconciliation to source systems.
  • Monitor report refreshes and usage; assist in troubleshooting performance or data quality issues.
  • Maintain documentation for owned reports, datasets, and data transformations, including data definitions and lineage.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, application, and business teams to resolve data issues and improve data readiness.
  • Contribute to the BI team’s standards, templates, and best practices; participate in peer reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a specifically related field is preferred; equivalent work experience is acceptable in place of this requirement.
  • 1–4 years of professional experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, or application development.
  • Hands‑on experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI or a similar enterprise BI platform.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.
  • Understanding of basic data modeling concepts (tables, joins, keys, measures, dimensions).
  • Ability to organize work, manage multiple requests, and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI semantic models, row‑level security, and performance optimization.
  • Exposure to enterprise data warehouse or cloud data platforms.
  • Experience working within a structured SDLC, using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data governance concepts and the use of shared or certified datasets.
