Job summary

HexArmor is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team, forecasting performance and supporting ad hoc analyses across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. You’ll partner with data engineers and leverage AI tools to accelerate reporting while translating complex numbers for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, statistics, finance, or economics.
• Experience in BI/analytics or reporting role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Tableau for dashboards.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud data platform.
• Experience building forecasts using time series or regression methods.
• Knowledge of Python or R and basic ML concepts.
• Ability to translate data into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting in Tableau that gives the organization a clear view of performance against plan.
• Write and optimize SQL against the company data warehouse, and define and document core business metrics so that reporting stays consistent across teams.
• Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis including trend, variance, segmentation, and cohort analysis, and support monthly and quarterly business reviews with prepared analysis and recommended actions.
• Develop and maintain demand, revenue, and sales forecasts at the product, customer, channel, and region level.
• Measure and report forecast accuracy, investigate variance between forecast and actuals, and refine methodology over time to support annual planning, budgeting, and sales and operations planning.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate report, dashboard, and model development, including generating and reviewing SQL, prototyping visualizations, and speeding up documentation and validation, and identify further opportunities to reduce manual effort in recurring workflows.
• Work alongside and assist the data engineering team on data set and pipeline development, helping define data requirements, validate outputs, and QA new data sources.
• Assist the data engineering team in developing, testing, and evaluating machine learning models that support reporting and forecasting, and partner with them on data quality and governance standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and analytical approaches, and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

SUMMARY

HexArmor is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team as a critical player in how the business measures performance and plans ahead. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this role serves as a trusted analytical resource for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Forecasting is a growing priority for HexArmor, and the analyst will help build that capability while working alongside our data engineering team and using AI tools to work faster. Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented, and able to explain what the numbers mean to an audience that does not work in the data every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, design,and evolve reliable, scalable full-stack services and applications, including API design and data modeling, for clearly scoped product capabilitiesacross both frontend and backend components
• Deliver end-to-end features across the full software development lifecycle by implementing design, writing high-quality code,creatingand executing tests, and contributing to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational support for web-based experiences
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and technical partners to understand requirements, break down work, and implement full-stack technical solutionsfor complex tasks and small projectsthat integrate with multiple services and domains
• Improve code quality, reliability, and performance across the stack by following and contributing to best practices in testing, observability, security, accessibility, and operational excellence for the services and user interfaces you work on
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing for frontend and backend technologies, supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement while steadily expanding your technical scope and impact
• Apply security best practices throughout development, including secure coding, dependency management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or Economics
• Demonstrated experience in a business intelligence, analytics, or reporting role
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau
• Experience working in Microsoft Fabric or a comparable cloud data platform, with comfort handling large, imperfect data sets
• Experience building or maintaining forecasts in a business setting, with familiarity with time series and regression-based forecasting methods
• Working knowledge of Python or R and a practical understanding of machine learning concepts, sufficient to contribute alongside data engineering
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve analytical workflows and support the development of reports, dashboards, and models, and up to date with best practices in business intelligence, forecasting, and applied AI
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with the ability to translate technical results into clear business recommendations for a non-technical audience
• Dependable, hardworking problem solver and team player with excellent verbal and communication skills, a high standard of performance for self, and a willingness to pivot when needed to complete the crucial task for the business
