The Office of Business Optimization, or Optimize, serves as the “dot connector” converting the Federal Acquisition Service vision into an operational reality to drive acquisition excellence. Our office is dedicated to enterprise-wide excellence in operations, proactive customer engagement, and cultivating a top-tier workforce.
Optimize is responsible for strategy development, procedure optimization, supply chain risk management, and data analytics to inform smart business decisions.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience optimizing business processes to improve customer relationship management and contract management. Such experience must include utilizing electronic-business, customer relationship management (CRM), and business intelligence (BI) systems:
