FC Industries Inc. in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Engineering Intern to help build dashboards, analyze data, and support reporting and automation across the company.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, and data modeling while collaborating with mentors on real manufacturing analytics projects. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, including reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Understanding of data modeling and relational data concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards to support manufacturing analytics and reporting.
• Analyze business data to identify trends and opportunities for improvements.

Requirements

Requirements as a Business Intelligence Analyst/ Data Engineering Intern:

• Must be currently pursuing a pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work in the United States
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Basic understanding of data modeling, databases, and relational data concepts.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the shop floor.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
