Descripción del empleo

Summary:

We’re looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. The Data Analytics team at Anaconda turns data into direction - translating CRM, product, and financial data into the insights that help our go-to-market, finance, and customer success teams make better decisions, faster.

We recently completed a reorg that brought analytics engineering and data science closer together under one function, and we’re building on strong existing infrastructure. This role sits at the center of that momentum. You’ll own analytical projects end-to-end, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and help shape how we measure what matters. If you dig into the data to understand the story behind the numbers, this is the work for you.

WhatYou’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses in OMNI and Snowflake that give finance, GTM, and customer success teams clear visibility into performance.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries and dbt models to transform raw CRM and product data into reliable, analysis-ready datasets.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand what they need to measure, translate those needs into analytical requirements, and deliver solutions that stick.

  • Conduct ROI analyses and quantitative deep dives on strategic initiatives, connecting data outputs to business outcomes with clarity.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting systems by identifying discrepancies, documenting assumptions, and maintaining consistent definitions.

  • Support data accessibility by managing routine report distribution, automating recurring reporting, and triaging ad hoc data requests efficiently.

  • Contribute to a shared knowledge base - documenting models, data dictionaries, and analytical approaches so the team builds on each other’s work.

  • Use AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools to accelerate SQL development, dbt model generation, and analytical documentation — and apply AI-assisted synthesis to move faster from raw analysis to clear, stakeholder‑ready narratives and recommendations.

Your Impact Will Be Measured Through:

  • Accuracy and reliability of dashboards and data models in production

  • Stakeholder adoption and satisfaction with analytical outputs

  • Speed and quality of ad hoc analysis delivery

  • Reduction in manual reporting through automation and self‑serve tooling

What You Need:

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a closely related role, with demonstrated ownership of analytics projects in organizations with multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across complex, multi‑table data environments.

  • Experience with dbt for data modeling and transforming raw data into clean, reusable datasets.

  • Experience working with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

  • Experience building dashboards and reports in a BI visualization tool (e.g., OMNI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).

  • Experience analyzing CRM data in Salesforce or a comparable platform to support revenue and GTM reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical business audiences.

  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) in a technical analytics workflow — not just familiarity, but a working practice of prompting effectively, validating outputs, and knowing where AI falls short.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Hands‑on experience with OMNI - a portfolio of dashboards or analyses is a plus.

  • Experience applying statistical methodologies or explainable AI techniques to solve a real business problem, with the ability to explain findings to a non-technical audience.

  • Experience working in an open‑source, AI, or data science company where data is core to the product and go‑to‑market.

  • A demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, CrewAI) to accelerate analytical work — whether generating SQL, summarizing findings, generating documentation or uncovering a piece of insight that is valuable to the business that pushes the envelope on what’s possible. But also having the judgment to push back on what the AI gives you if it is unsatisfactory or wrong.

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, smaller‑scale organization where you’ve had to prioritize competing analytical needs with limited resources.

  • You embody our values: Curious by Default, Build Together, Own It, and Lead with Guts and Heart, and our behaviors: Clarity, Care, and Candor.

  • You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish.

Why You’ll Like Working Here:

  • You’ll thrive in a high-performance environment where results are recognized and rewarded

  • Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of data science, machine learning, and AI in the enterprise.

  • You’ll work alongside a collaborative team that values diverse, thoughtful discussion, clarity and candor.

  • You’ll be supported by a culture that puts employees first - with flexible hours, a fully remote setup, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing and growth.
