Job summary

Potter Global Technologies in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and deploy BI reports and dashboards across Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments. You will partner with IT and business leaders to uncover insights and support smarter decisions, making complex data understandable from day one.

The role requires 2+ years in IT/BI, experience with Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, T-SQL, and MS SQL Server, plus strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT and Business Intelligence, with a track record of creating advanced reports using tools such asTableau, Power BI, Qlik, Tibco, SSRS, SSIS, T‑SQL, and MS SQL Server is a plus
  • Familiarity withERP database schemas and departmental processes; Epicor knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working in manufacturing is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Intelligence development, planning, design, configuration, coding, and troubleshooting of BI tools is a plus

  • Test and validate report data, ensuring accuracy and reliability while conveying the key insights or “story” in clear, visual formats that are grouped, summarized, and actionable
  • Work with large datasets and perform ad‑hoc analyses to quickly inform and support critical business decisions
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and BI solutions to maintain performance and relevance
  • Ensure alignment of business unit processes with enterprise‑wide data practices and standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support reporting infrastructure and knowledge sharing
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance reporting tools, processes, and operations
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and teams
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work closely with teammates across Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to build reports and dashboards that make complex information easy to understand. You’ll partner with IT and business leaders to uncover insights, solve problems, and support smarter choices every day.
