We believe technology can be an effective vehicle for change.

Our mission: to help nonprofit organizations grow and thrive.

Our values: be transparent and honest; be fair and accountable; be independent and objective; and be good to our staff, our communities, and the world.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Technical Services team who will bring these same values and passion to help nonprofit organizations. A Business Intelligence Analyst is a client-facing full-time salaried intermediate-level position.

You will serve as a trusted data advisor for our clients, working with them to understand their data and how to best shape it to communicate impact or meet reporting requirements.

You will work with our Sales team to ensure our solutions are reflected accurately and projects and service agreements are properly scoped and estimated. You will serve as an analytics subject-mater expert at the firm, working with internal staff and clients alike. You will be the primarily escalation point for analytics across the firm and will work closely with senior leadership and the Technical Services Team to develop a clear analytics methodology.

You will work with our Data Architect to create data warehouse solutions, perform data migrations, and build and maintain analytics strategies and systems for our clients. You will work with tools such as PowerBI and Tableau to deliver compelling visualizations and enable data storytelling for our clients.

You will be expected to cross-train in areas of technology, knowledge management, project management and perform traditional development tasks. You will participate in client-facing requirements gathering and scoping activities, product demonstration, internal and end-user testing, front-end configuration, and other project work necessary to implement technology with nonprofits and social sector organizations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI, developing underlying data models and performing transformations that power effective, data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop and present compelling BI solutions and demonstrations tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Work with sales and leadership to determine scope, estimate effort and define requirements to deliver successful projects and managed services agreements.
