King County is hiring for a finance-focused role within Public Health’s Finance team to support invoicing and grant management across multiple programs. The position works in a hybrid model with a primary onsite location in Seattle and requirements to ensure compliance with federal and local funding rules.
Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, and journal entries in Oracle E-Business Suite, along with collaboration across departments to sustain fiscal integrity and audit readiness.
The Health Care for the Homeless Network (HCHN) contracts with 10+ community-based agencies to provide medical, mental health, substance abuse, and case management services to vulnerable homeless individuals and families in Seattle and King County. Services are provided in shelters, day centers, on the street, and in other locations where homeless people congregate.
As a member of the Health Care for the Homeless Network (HCHN) team, this position supports highly complex invoicing and payment for over $10 million annually for 25+ programs, ensuring compliance with multiple Federal and local funder requirements. Other key duties include support for contracting processes and are conducted in close coordination with the Finance Manager, Data and Contracts Specialist, and Contracts Manager. Other special projects are handled by this position as needed.

This position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is exempt and not eligible for overtime.
The team works in a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is the Chinook Building, 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
