Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Business Efficiency Analyst II to drive efficiency across the organization, partnering with stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver solutions that improve member service and operational effectiveness.

Leveraging Lean principles and cross-functional collaboration, you will elicit requirements, define KPIs, and guide end-to-end process improvements with IT and business leaders. This role emphasizes teamwork and stakeholder engagement across the credit union.

Job description

Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Business Efficiency Analyst II plays a key role in efficiency projects across Redwood Credit Union, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure Members are served more consistently and efficiently, while still providing personalized service and solutions. You will use your understanding of business processes and technology, critical thinking skills, and ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business partners to design, develop, and deliver solutions for Members, teammates, and communities served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct observations and interviews with process performers and owners to gather experiential information about as-is processes.
  • Partner with the data team to gather quantitative information about as-is processes.
  • Lead collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to document end-to-end as-is processes, internal/external pain points, and desired outcomes for optimization and automation.
  • Use Lean principles to provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements
  • Document to-be processes and partner with business leadership to implement.
  • Develop success metrics and monitoring procedures for quantifying improvement process improvement benefits.
  • Identify technology gaps and automation opportunities in existing processes.
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis
  • Elicit business requirements for processes and technology from a diversity of stakeholders from front-line team members to senior leadership.
  • Use NPS and other sources of Member feedback to develop requirements for public-facing systems and processes.
  • Analyze requirements and develop success criteria and KPIs for technical and process solutions.
  • Manage requirements in multiple SDLCs, including Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.
Leadership & Other Functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions between business leadership and IT.
  • Train and educate staff on processes and efficiency.
  • Participate in community events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Licenses and Certifications
  • IIBA Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) desired.
  • Six Sigma or similar certification desired.

The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or closely related field, and a minimum of three years’ experience in business analysis, process analysis, system design and integration, or similar. Prior experience in financial services is a plus.

Compensation

Base starting range: $94,082 to $123,949 annually commensurate with experience.

Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.

  • Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
