Our client, a growing IT Consulting Firm is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing new business opportunities, helping drive revenue growth by connecting with potential clients and fostering strong relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to work with cutting-edge IT solutions, managed services, and enterprise software sales in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client pain points, and how client's IT consulting, managed services, and software solutions can address their needs.
- Engage with prospective clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach strategies to generate interest and set meetings.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for pipeline growth.
- Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand their business needs and uncover how the Company can best meet their needs.
- Write compelling, value-driven prospecting emails and scripts for phone calls.
- Present and promote IT consulting services, managed IT solutions, and software offerings to prospective clients.
- Maintain and update CRM records to track engagement and sales activities.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients, understanding their business challenges and how our IT consulting services can add value.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to client acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, marketing, IT, or relevant fields
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (in Oracle, NetSuite, and similar ERP software sales is preferred).
- Strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track and manage sales activity.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive with a passion for sales and business growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also being self-driven and independent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
