Job Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Texas, remote first

Salary: $55,000 base salary + $30,000 commission Y1

Do you want to be part of a global sales team, spearheading growth in the USA?

We are working with a rocket-ship of a SaaS start-up disrupting the maritime industry, challenging companies to ditch Outlook and Gmail, and experience a more efficient, smarter, and slicker team shared mailbox.

On average, C-level executives receive 1 email every 15 seconds, totaling 2000 emails PER DAY. Outlook and Gmail are not designed for this volume, but our client’s solution is. They remove 70% of the noise associated with traditional email platforms.

Having closed their series C funding round, with over $86 million raised (by the same VC fund that invested in Monzo and IPO’d Cazoo), they’re experiencing exponential growth. Their sales team is expanding, and they are looking for x2 superstar Business Development Representatives to join and lead their growth.

As their ICP is maritime organizations, this role involves lots of travel and attending events!

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business leads and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Utilize prospecting and research tools, coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities, and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
  • Strategize with team members to innovate and improve the sales development process.
  • Conduct sales outreach via email, phone, and social media using enablement technology to connect with prospects.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective prospect communication plans.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality and quantity of demonstrations.
