Description:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at KUKUI, you will generate new sales opportunities, add qualified leads to the sales funnel, and schedule client demos. Your responsibilities in this role include prospecting, cold calling, following up, and passing on qualified leads to other sales professionals who will convert them into new clients.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales opportunities
  2. Pass on qualified opportunities and schedule demos for assigned closing sales professionals
  3. Interact with prospects via email, phone, and using other sales generation tools
  4. Research new and existing pipeline accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities
  5. Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  6. Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
  7. Update prospect interactions following defined processes in our CRM to ensure efficient data management
  8. Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives
  9. Achieve monthly quotas for calls made, emails sent, and demos scheduled
  10. Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
  11. Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  2. Proficient track record of exceeding quota
  3. Highly self-motivated and dependable
  4. Tenacious, motivated and the will to persevere through adversity
  5. High energy, fun spirit, enjoy using new technology
  6. Burning desire to learn and improve — coachable
  7. Resourceful and versatile
  8. A strong team player, comfortable working up, down and across organizations, internally and externally, to create success for yourself and your teammates.
  9. Familiarity with modern sales engagement and automation tools.
  10. Qualify (and disqualify) prospects through comprehensive research; invest the necessary time accordingly
  11. Cold email, calling, social media outreach -- tactics proven to start revenue-driving conversations that you’ve successfully implemented in (ideally) a previous role
  12. Ability to engage prospects, build credibility, and utilize sales techniques to move clients through the beginning of their buying journey, including effective questioning and note taking, objection handling, strategic positioning, and closing on next steps
  13. Build peer relationships with owners and management of target accounts
  14. Thoughtful, creative, and strategic in how you get to the end result
  15. Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
  16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  17. Strong time management and organizational abilities
  18. Experience with social media outreach is a plus
  19. Excellent discovery and listening skills
  20. Clear, concise communication with clients and teammates
  21. Experience working in SaaS or software environment (nice to have)
  22. Experience with aftermarket auto repair clients (nice to have)
