Lyten, Inc. seeks a seasoned Business Development Representative for its Indianapolis Motorsports facility. You will drive revenue by closing high‑value composite fabrication and additive manufacturing deals with top racing teams and automotive brands.
The role demands deep industry connections, technical quoting skills, and a track record of meeting sales targets. You will work with on‑site engineering and manufacturing teams, manage CRM pipelines, and represent Lyten Motorsports at PRI/SEMA
Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next‑generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real‑world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense. At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made. We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.
We are seeking a highly driven, well‑connected Business Development Representative to spearhead revenue growth for our newly established motorsports composite and additive manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and closing deals to fill the manufacturing capacity of our Indy shop. You will be selling high‑performance, custom Carbon Fiber manufacturing and advanced 3D printing capabilities to top‑tier racing teams and automotive performance brands. The ideal candidate has a deep rolodex within the motorsports industry, understands the technical language of composites and engineering, and thrives in a fast‑paced, motorsports sales environment. This role requires the candidate to be based in the Indianapolis area and report directly to our local Motorsports office.
Revenue Generation & Deal Closing: Prospect, qualify, and secure new B2B manufacturing contracts for both custom composite fabrication and additive manufacturing (3D printing) projects. Pipeline & Account Management: Build and aggressively manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite). Develop long‑term, strategic partnerships with race teams, chassis builders, and high‑performance automotive OEMs. Serve as the primary commercial point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.
Technical Scoping & Quoting: Collaborate intimately with the on‑site Indianapolis engineering and manufacturing teams to evaluate customer RFQs (Requests for Quote). Translate customer aerodynamic, structural, and timeline requirements into accurate technical proposals and cost estimates.
Market Strategy & Networking: Act as a sales representative of Lyten Motorsports at industry trade shows (e.g., PRI, SEMA), race weekends, and networking events. Provide market intelligence back to the executive and engineering teams regarding competitor pricing, emerging lightweighting trends, and customer needs.
