Business Development Representative (BDR)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $65,000 base salary + bonus (OTE: $100K - $150K)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growing team. This role is integral in driving new business opportunities, identifying and qualifying leads, and supporting the sales team in building a strong pipeline. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential clients through various channels, including social media, databases, and company directories.
- Proactively generate new leads via cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social media engagement.
- Manage and expand the company’s database of prospective clients.
- Qualify inbound leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
- Schedule meetings or demos between qualified leads and account executives or senior sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and company product offerings.
- Consistently achieve or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including outreach volume, scheduled appointments, and lead conversions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a professional presence.
- Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales processes, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection, stay motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaboration: Team player who works well with sales and marketing teams.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Eager to learn about clients’ industries and market trends.
- Base Salary: $60,000, increasing to $65,000 upon completion of in-house sales certification (2 weeks)
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $150,000 (base + commission/bonuses)

- Probation Period: 60 days, with two weeks of in-office training
