Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a marketing professional to drive home health and hospice initiatives across Sumter County and surrounding regions. You will develop territory plans, engage providers, and manage patient expectations while collaborating with admissions and care teams.

The role requires 3+ years in marketing within healthcare, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Position is full-time with day shifts in Tavаres, FL.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor level education in business, marketing or health science is required/preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in healthcare marketing or home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas.
• Develops and evaluates territory plans to meet growth goals.
• Builds relationships with providers and referral sources.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate new products and services.

Job Description

Territory: Primarily Sumter County and surrounding regions to include The Villages, Lady Lake, Belleview, Summerfield, Marion Oaks, Wildwood, Bushnell, Coleman, and Oxford.

• Provides direct marketing of Home Based Service to assigned areas.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals and implement agreed‑upon strategies and actions.
• Develops business relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted referral sources.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate information about new products, programs, and service delivery.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss home health, hospice, and palliative care services, individual needs/concerns, and manage expectations; obtains signed consent documents.
• Builds relationships within the admissions department and with patient care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources and internal stakeholders.
• Updates and maintains customer and competitor profiles, logs daily call activity, and documents plans for follow‑up activities with referral sources.
• Serves as agency staff liaison with physicians, facility nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies to facilitate the delivery of appropriate services for potential patients.
• Utilizes current agency and/or department‑specific software to complete assignments and documents relevant information into electronic database systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community about home health and hospice programs, including physician calls, lunch and learns, health fairs, speaker’s bureau, and CEU programs for healthcare providers.
• Prepares monthly tracking reports on referral sources and keeps the agency informed of key marketplace changes relating to providers and competitors.
