Job summary

Leland is seeking an experienced Business Development & Partnerships Coach to guide clients breaking into or expanding in business development and strategic partnerships roles. You will teach core BD strategy, partnership development, and market analysis, while helping clients sharpen negotiation skills and use AI tools in practice.

You will also deliver resume, LinkedIn, and cover letter guidance, interview prep, networking strategies, and salary/ promotion planning, all via virtual sessions

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in business development or partnerships as a BD lead or manager.
• Strong track record of driving deals and relationships with clients and partners.
• Clear, structured coaching approach to help clients grow technically and professionally.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced Business Development & Partnerships Coach to work with clients looking to break into or grow within business development and strategic partnerships roles. This role includes teaching core business development strategy, partnership development, and market analysis, as well as helping clients sharpen negotiation skills and apply emerging tools like AI fundamentals and AI automation to their work. Coaches also support clients on the career side, offering resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance, along with interview prep, networking strategy, salary negotiation, and promotion strategy tailored to business development roles. Additional support includes broader skill building to help clients grow into more senior partnerships positions. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in business development or partnerships (as a BD lead, partnerships manager, or industry professional), a strong track record of driving deals and relationships, and a clear, structured approach to coaching clients through both technical and career growth. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client.
