The Business Development Manager (BDM) aggressively pursues new business within all targeted aerospace, defense, and space accounts in the Western United States. The BDM will manage existing accounts while primarily focusing on developing new business for Amphenol CIT (ACIT). Drawing on significant experience selling wire, cable, and interconnect components, the BDM builds expertise in other Amphenol products to target joint opportunities. A high‑energy, self‑starter with a passion for winning new business and delivering innovative solutions, the BDM thrives in green‑field selling and works autonomously while collaborating with internal partners.

Minimum of five years of experience in sales, engineering, and/or product management within aerospace and/or interconnect industries.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other relevant course of study, or equivalent experience.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. The employee should be able to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and manuals; and effectively present information to managers, clients, and the general public.
This position focuses on business development within the Western United States. Preferred locations include Southern California, the San‑Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Phoenix, and Denver metro areas. Candidates may work from home or from an Amphenol facility.
Regular use of hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Frequently stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
