Job summary

American International Group in Georgia is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive HVAC warranty opportunities. You will build the territory, meet with potential customers, and develop strategies to win large accounts.

You should be a self-starter with strong communication, proven sales success, CRM experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% regionally.

Qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter and able to manage competing priorities and schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills; must be comfortable working at all levels of an organization
  • Able to develop a robust network within the industry
  • Previous experience in conducting presentations from groups of 30 to groups of over 250 at industry events and conferences
  • Relevant experience within HVAC, or trade industry is highly preferred
  • Must have previous sales experience with demonstrated success building and territory and meeting aggressive sales targets
  • Manage leads from varying sources within CRM and appropriately recording all activity
  • Interacting and coordinating with OEM and Distributor sales team – with both on-sight and virtual visits
  • Not afraid to cold call when needed
  • Technologically sound; able to coordinate and set up virtual meetings
  • Must be able to travel coordinate and travel about 50% regionally
