This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote.


Description

Builds relationships with new providers. Provides services to strengthen physician relationships and meet physician needs. Experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience should include: healthcare sales, business development, account management, or strategic partnerships. Also experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Strong knowledge of health care industry trends. Advanced knowledge of the medical center or health system's product lines and services.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform complex market and financial analysis.

  • Creative problem solving skills to assess opportunities and issues and develop solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building and political acumen skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and technical skills to learn specialized applications and tools in the field


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience building trusted relationships with healthcare executives, physician leaders, and clinical stakeholders.

  • Experience managing complex territories and strategic accounts.

  • Experience collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams; and navigate healthcare organizations to identify and advance business opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical service lines, and consultative sales methodologies.

Pay Transparency Act


Annual Full Pay Range: $90,600 - $166,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)


Hourly Equivalent: $43.39 - $79.69


Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
