Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Financial Wellness Solutions group in Grand Rapids, MI.

You will acquire new clients and drive the growth of our financial wellness offerings—health accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access—and other solutions through a consultative sales approach. The role emphasizes strengthening client engagement, expanding the book of business, and leveraging internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience selling to target sectors preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, general services.
  • Strong client relationships and financial analysis skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and grow revenue.

As a Business Development Manager within PNC's Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in Grand Rapids, MI. PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will provide innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access and other financial wellness offerings. You will employ a consultative based sales approach to acquire new business relationships. You will also work directly with knowledgeable client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business. Experience selling to one or more of the following areas is preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, general services. Job Description

Focuses on acquiring new clients across financial wellness solutions. Emphasis is on growing sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Typically works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs. Generally works with a moderate degree of supervision. Works within stated guidelines to acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handles the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non-credit products and services. Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being. Focuses on increasing client engagement and loyalty. Manages effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Focuses on bringing entire bank to the client by presenting the full range of PNC's products and services. Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
