Job Function:
Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) reports to the President of Sales and has responsibility for driving sales of Prosera Digital Twin solutions for assigned territories.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand Prosera's solutions including a working knowledge of product capabilities, system architectures, and implementation processes. Support discussions with potential customers and identify solutions that meet specific customer challenges. Possess working knowledge and pull in subject matter experts as necessary to support in-depth discussions.
  • Understand and follow Prosera's sales process. Be able to apply solution selling processes to real life situations to identify potential obstacles and navigate customers’ buying process. Understand necessary data requirements and sales strategy to drive the proposal process.
  • Present Prosera’s portfolio of solutions and articulate the associated value message via live meetings, web meetings, trade shows, demonstrations, phone discussions, and face-to-face customer meetings.
  • Independently and collaboratively develop and present communications supporting Prosera solutions via proposals, email, blogs, KBA, or other written communications.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Candidates should have a minimum BS Engineering degree and 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Sales process knowledge.
  • Sales Territory and Industry Management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Must meet background check, drug testing, and safety training requirements for access to client sites.
  • Must have valid driver's license to drive to client sites.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally if needed.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Simulation software knowledge.
