Job Summary

This role will be responsible for developing, securing, and managing long‑term WaaS contracts in the residential construction and municipal markets throughout the Houston market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify current assets & future projects that could benefit from the water and wastewater treatment systems sold as WaaS business model for residential construction customers.
  • Meet with potential clients to promote the AUC Group business model approach & create a strategic advantage for AUC Group.
  • Identify key decision‑makers & create an appropriate strategy.
  • Build new customer relations with engineers, home developers, lawyers, and other relevant key stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with the residential construction markets. Prefer knowledge of leasing and similar financial structures throughout the territory (P3 and MUD, etc.).
  • Act as primary client contact during the project development period.
  • Coordinate with the AUC Group BD team, engineering, finance, and legal, to develop project proposals.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Driven individual with an eagerness to identify and close projects.
  • History of successful sales experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to develop project‑specific BD strategy.
  • Ability to understand municipal government politics and utility decision‑making processes.
  • Ability to identify key decision‑makers in both municipal and industrial organizations.
  • Strong skills with the MS Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years combined experience in Engineering and Business/Project Development.
  • Experience in lease &/or concession contracts and sales is preferred.
  • Experience in the location and the specified city is preferred with relevant knowledge and relationships highly welcome.
