Job summary

Amazon Music is seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially-driven Business Development Lead to own and scale strategic partnerships that accelerate growth for a leading global music streaming service.

You will operate at the intersection of technology, product, content and commercial strategy, identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and turning emerging distribution opportunities into scaled growth drivers for Amazon Music’s customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content, Design, Legal and Finance to deliver differentiated partner experiences.
• Drive multiple workstreams in parallel, bringing commercial rigour and entrepreneurial instinct to each opportunity.
• Define success metrics, track partner performance, and present business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in CTV, streaming, and smart home to inform partnership strategy and product roadmap input.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
• Experience structuring and closing complex partnerships that drive measurable business impact

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the entertainment industry
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development, legal, etc.
• Experience owning end-to-end programs to drive results
• Experience with AI/ML technologies
• Deep knowledge of living room device (e.g CTV), landscape and distribution models)
• Strong analytical skills; comfort using data to build business cases and measure impact
