FC Industries Inc. in Dayton, Ohio invites applications for a Business Intelligence Analyst/ Data Engineering Intern.

The role focuses on building dashboards, analyzing data, and supporting reporting and automation across the company; ideal for students in analytics/computing fields with Power BI basics. You will gain hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, data modeling, and business reporting while collaborating with seasoned professionals to drive improvements in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• US citizenship or permanent residency to work in the United States.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI for reports, dashboards and visuals.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis).
• Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to retrieve/manipulate data.
• Basic understanding of data modeling, databases, and relational concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Analyze business data to support reporting and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with team to deliver analytics that improve operations and performance.

Requirements:

Requirements as a Business Intelligence Analyst/ Data Engineering Intern:

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work in the United States
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL or other query languages to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Basic understanding of data modeling, databases, and relational data concepts.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the shop floor.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
