Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Business Development Director to lead inpatient and outpatient growth in an IRF and/or LTCH setting. You will design and implement referral programs, drive census growth, and mentor a Business Development team while aligning with our patient-centric mission.

You will partner with hospital leadership to expand product lines, manage marketing operations, and ensure high standards of patient safety and care excellence in a national post-acute care leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing representation or nurse liaison in a healthcare environment.
• Successful track record in leading, managing or direct sales and marketing in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and monitor critical numbers and progress toward goals.
• Understand and manage operational and financial metrics and marketing operations.
• Oversee admission processes and reimbursement systems.
• Communicate opportunities and threats in the marketplace to senior management.

Qualifications

• Driver's license and acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a marketing representative, or nurse liaison in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree in related area preferred.
• Successful track record in leading, managing or direct sales and marketing, preferably in healthcare environment. Physician relations, Case manager, Managed care, knowledge of local healthcare market preferred.
