Job summary

Global Regulatory Partners Group (GRP Group), headquartered in the USA, is seeking a hands-on Business Development Associate to support the US BD team with client engagement, market research, proposal preparation, PowerPoint presentations, calls scheduling and meeting minutes.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years in pharma business development or related roles, excel and PowerPoint proficiency, fluent English, and strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or pharma-related field.
  • 3–4 years in business development support, sales, or account management in pharma.
  • Familiarity with regulatory services, pharma/biotech, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong skills in creating presentations, proposals, and business documentation.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities in regulatory affairs, clinical operations, quality, pharmacovigilance, and market access.
  • Conduct market research on pharma trends, competitors, and global regulatory updates.
  • Build prospects’ lists targeting pharma, biotech, and medical device companies.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand regulatory, clinical, and compliance needs.
  • Deliver capability presentations and support proposal development.
  • Maintain ongoing client communication to support onboarding and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activities in CRM systems.
  • Track sales progress, conversion rates, and revenue outcomes.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and data-driven insights for leadership.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, pharmacovigilance, clinical, and quality teams to align service offerings.
  • Support marketing in creating pharma-specific promotional and outreach materials.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and service agreements.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports with KPIs, lead status, and delivered work.
  • Document client communications and maintain organized records.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Role Description

The Business Development (BD) Associate will provide support to the Business Development team in USA, by assisting in client engagement, market research, proposal preparation, powerpoint presentations, calls scheduling and meeting minutes preparation and follow-up. The candidate shall work with cross-functional teams to collect the required information and shall ensure timely and accurate support for BD activities. The role requires at least 3 to 4 years experience in business development in pharmaceuticals industry, strong organizational and English communication skills, proficiency in excelsheet and powerpoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify opportunities in regulatory affairs, clinical operations, quality, pharmacovigilance,and market access.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in business development support, sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Understanding of regulatory services, pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries is preferred.
  • Strong skills in preparing presentations, proposals, and business documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales force (CRM tool).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
