Business Development Assistant

SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a creative, outgoing, and highly organized Business Development Assistant to support our Marketing and Business Development team. This role blends content creation, storytelling, and community outreach, helping us highlight patient recovery journeys, promote our services, and strengthen our presence across the St. Louis region.

Responsibilities

• Captures authentic, uplifting content that aligns with SSM Health Physical Therapy's brand and patient-centered mission for social media.
• Photograph centers, clinicians and events for social media and website.
• Partner closely with Communications & Branding Department on all print and digital materials representing the market.
• Identify and attend community events.
• Assist business development team as needed including visiting local referral sources, attending breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and delivering reports.
• Hand deliver marketing materials, IE letters, POCs, etc.
• Grow visibility by fostering relationships with teams, clubs, and community groups.
• Balance content capture, editing, outreach visits, print material delivery, and event attendance without dropping details.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing or related field required.
• Experience in photography, videography and editing.
• Strong people skills with comfort interacting with clinicians, patients, community partners, and local organizations.
• Ability to attend community events, visit clinics and referral sources, and travel locally.
• Professional communication skills—written (captions, flyers, letters) and in-person (provider visits, community engagement).
• Experience with project management tools and platforms (i.e. Workfront, Smartsheet).
