Penumbra, Inc. in Alameda, CA is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support new growth strategies through market analyses and opportunity evaluation.
The role involves due diligence, financial and market modeling, and preparing executives for strategic decisions. The candidate will analyze technologies, partnerships, and potential ventures, while coordinating with marketing, finance, and R&D to align on priorities and pipeline strategy.
The Business Development Analyst supports Penumbra’s new business growth strategy through in-depth market analysis and new opportunity evaluation. Reporting to the Director, Business Development and working collaboratively with the Corporate Strategy team, this role evaluates new technologies, partnerships, and other business opportunities and is responsible for assisting with the management of due diligence, financial and market modeling, and valuation analysis.
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. May have business travel from 0% - 5%. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
$53.85 – $63.85 / hour
Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, work location and shift, and will increase over time based on meeting performance and business needs.
