Job Summary

The Business Development Analyst conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses for pricing proposals for early-stage projects and administers the Commercial Development budget. The Analyst, Business Development will report directly to Excelerate Energy’s Director, Financial Strategy and Economics and indirectly to Director, FP&.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare early-stage project pricing proposals using in-house models and templates.
Prepare various scenarios and sensitivity analysis for each project.
Work collaboratively with the operations, engineering, business development and finance teams to gather consistent and reasonable inputs for models and analyze the results.
Present summarized pricing and modeling results to different levels of management.
Assist with regular updates and maintenance of the Commercial Development budget.
Assist with AFE development and expense approvals.
Assist with other ad hoc and special projects as assigned.

Travel Requirements

Up to 10% of international travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Possesses solid working knowledge of financial modeling, including project modeling.
Intermediate accounting proficiency. Must have strong working knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and their interdependence.
Intermediate to advanced modeling skills in Excel.
1+ years of project modeling and relevant experience.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to relentlessly identify and seek needed information both internally and externally.
