DHL Supply Chain seeks a Business Data Analyst I to turn operational data into strategic insights within a dynamic warehouse environment. You will build Power BI reports, design data models, and collaborate with site leadership to deliver actionable analyses.

With 1+ year in analytics and strong SQL/DAX skills, you will translate data into clear findings and support cost reductions and efficiency initiatives across our operations. This is an onsite role supporting national operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of data analytics or BI experience.
• Proficiency in SQL or similar scripting languages.
• Power BI proficiency and dashboard development from scratch.
• Experience writing DAX expressions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Onsite work allowed for warehouse-based roles.

The Business Data Analyst I role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

Job Description

As a Business Data Analyst I, you will play a key role in transforming operational data into strategic insights that identify opportunities, improve performance, and reduce costs. You’ll collaborate with site leadership and key stakeholders to build reports, implement standard tools, and support data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with foundational analytics experience who is ready to take ownership of projects and grow into a trusted resource for data solutions.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements
• Collaborate with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Assist various functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports for internal and customer use
• Ability to leverage data from various systems that support our operations (Warehouse Management System, Timekeeping systems, etc.)
• Manage analytics projects independently, from concept to delivery
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and support

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience, required
• 1+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, required
• Hands-on experience using SQL or other scripting languages (such as Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data, required
• Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch, required
• Experience writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports, required
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques, preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, required
• Must be able to work fully onsite if role based out of a warehouse, required
