Evlo AI is seeking a data-driven analytics engineer to own the analytical engine for product and business decisions. You will design scalable metrics, develop dashboards, and partner with product managers, data engineers, and executives to translate complex data into growth strategies.

Responsibilities include building semantic layers and data models in modern warehouses, writing advanced SQL and Python scripts, and leading data-informed experiments.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of BI/analytics experience in a tech company.
• Expert SQL plus Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience building semantic layers and scalable data models in modern warehouses.

• Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale data.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define event tracking schemas, ensuring high data quality.
• Execute rigorous A/B tests and multivariate experiments, analyzing funnels and retention cohorts.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks and communicate findings to leadership.

The role owns the analytical engine that drives product and business decisions, translating complex datasets into actionable growth strategies. The team works closely with product managers, data engineers, and executives to build scalable metrics frameworks, reliable dashboards, and deep-dive exploratory analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core business metrics, dimensional models, and automated dashboards in tools like Looker or Tableau
• Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale user interaction and revenue data
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define event tracking schemas, ensuring high data quality across all touchpoints
• Execute rigorous A/B tests and multivariate experiments, analyzing conversion funnels and user retention cohorts
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks and communicate findings directly to leadership

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics engineering within a tech environment
• Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization
• Demonstrated experience building semantic layers and scalable data models in modern data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Strong communication skills with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
• Bonus: Experience with dbt, Airflow, or building predictive churn models using scikit-learn
