Key Accountabilities
  • Drive new business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing banking opportunities with business clients.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships while deepening existing client engagement.
  • Analyze financial information and recommend lending solutions that align with client needs and bank guidelines.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver treasury management, wealth management, capital markets, and other banking solutions.
  • Lead credit discussions and support loan structuring, underwriting, and approval recommendations.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with credit policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute market strategies and business plans to achieve growth and profitability goals.
  • Build referral networks and represent the bank through community, industry, and business organizations.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.
  • Strong business development, relationship management, and credit analysis skills.
  • Proven success in achieving sales growth and managing client portfolios.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.
Preferred Experience
  • Leading complex commercial banking relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management, wealth management, and other non-lending financial solutions.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of relationship managers.
