Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a Senior IT Business Architect to shape strategic direction by designing and aligning business capabilities with enterprise goals. You will translate business strategies into roadmaps, scalable processes, and operating models across the bank.

You will lead modernization initiatives, cloud strategies, and compliance with FFIEC/OCC/FDIC frameworks while guiding cross‑functional teams and partnering with executives, product leaders, and IT partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in IT architecture or business analysis within banking/financial services.
• Proven modernization experience in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory landscape.
• Experience with TOGAF and BIZBOK and business capability modeling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic direction.
• Preferred: TOGAF, CBAP, Certified Business Architect, or PMP.
• Experience with core banking transformation, digital onboarding, open banking, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with architecture tools and agile delivery models.
