Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to own end-to-end data analytics projects in Talent Acquisition. You will build reports, perform trend analyses, and surface insights to inform hiring strategies and leadership decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop scalable reporting solutions, and maintain data integrity across multiple systems. A strong background in Excel, Tableau, SQL, and business analysis is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with SQL/SQL queries to drive business recommendations and influence stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Build operational dashboards and reports for recruiting leaders and business partners.
• Create and maintain data visualizations informing stakeholders on key metrics.
• Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide recommendations on organization health metrics based on data trends.
• Lead headcount planning exercises in Talent Acquisition with Finance.
• Develop programs, methodologies, and reports for analyzing and presenting data.
• Serve as SME for corporate recruiting tools and train team members.
• Perform regular system audits to ensure accurate reporting of data/metrics.
• Carry out complex data analysis across multiple systems for scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.
• Mine KPIs to discover root causes and surface actionable insights.
• Work with Amazon data resources to determine which sources to use for information.
• Analyze business outcome data to identify relationships and trends; visualize statistical analyses.
• Contribute to research papers for internal audiences.
• Monitor metrics, develop new ones, and identify risk signals.

In this role, you will own data analytics projects from beginning to end, and will build reports, compile metrics, and own ad hoc and trend analysis. You will utilize business intelligence tools to analyze data and drive key recommendations. You will work with Talent Acquisition leadership to achieve business objectives and communicate insights to key stakeholders. You will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation; and drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You will provide analytical support for various Talent Acquisition programs, and build tools to surface timely, meaningful, and actionable data that will drive proactive decision making. Your analysis will contribute deeply to the development of our strategy and drive impact against our hiring objectives. Key job responsibilities

• Building the design of operational dashboards and reports for both recruiting leaders and the businesses they support
• Creating and maintaining data visualizations that inform stakeholders on key metrics
• Conducting trend analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions
• Providing recommendations on organization health metrics based on data trends
• Leading headcount planning exercises in Talent Acquisition by collaborating with Finance
• Developing programs, methodologies, and reports for analyzing and presenting data
• Acting as a SME for corporate recruiting tools, and providing necessary training to team members on the usage of these tools
• Performing regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate reporting of data/metrics
• Performing complex data analysis across multiple systems to support both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests
• Data mining key performance indicators to discover root causes
• Working with a broad range of Amazon’s data resources in order to determine which sources to use for which information
• Analyze business outcome data in order to identify relationships and trends; incorporate data visualization of statistical analyses
• Contributing to the writing of research papers for internal audiences
• Monitoring existing metrics, developing new metrics, and identifying actionable risk signals

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
