Job summary

Leidos seeks a Business/Data Analyst to capture business and user requirements, author stories and epics, and collaborate with SMEs and development teams. You’ll build datasets, perform data cleansing, and drive analytics while maintaining data dictionaries.

You will work in an Agile environment at a secure facility in Washington, DC, with partial telework early on and on-site work as the program matures. Active TS/SCI clearance required.

What you’ll need:

• An active TS/SCI clearance (required for consideration)
• Willingness and ability to complete and maintain additional customer suitability screenings throughout employment
• Current Security+ certification or higher/equivalent

The Business Analyst will work directly with customers to capture business and user requirements and communicate those requirements to the team. This role will define detailed stories and epics, with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams where the candidate will facilitate meetings with internal technical and operational teams. In addition, this role will be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents, including functional, technical, training as well as planning and roadmaps.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple priorities independently and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and recommend improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance (required for consideration).
• Ability to pass and maintain additional suitability screenings as required by customer.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC.
• Education and experience depending on job level: Level III: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4-8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Level IV: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 6+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of data and/or software architecture.
• Successful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
• Experience with JIRA, Git and Confluence.
• Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
• AWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
• Experience using SAFe as the agile development methodology.
• Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application.
• Experience applying test automation, test‑driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment to achieve built‑in quality by the team.
• Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
