Job summary

Robinhood is building the future of finance with a hands-on Business Analyst Intern role based in our Washington, DC area. You’ll work across Money and Growth, directly impacting product and strategy while partnering with product, engineering, risk, and operations teams.

You will develop analytical models, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations, with a focus on learning and growth for a 12-week internship that may extend into a rotational program after graduation.

Qualifications

  • Experience or coursework in business analysis, strategy, management consulting, financial services, or a quantitative analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and quantitative modeling techniques.
  • Ability to synthesize complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for cross‑functional partners.
  • Fluency with AI tools and staying current as tools evolve.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field with expected graduation Spring/Summer 2028.

The Business Analyst team shapes the strategy, growth, and performance of Robinhood's credit products, delivering top-tier experiences for our users. As part of the broader Credit organization, we work closely with product, engineering, risk, and operations to unlock sustainable business growth through deep analytical rigor. Our team fosters a collaborative, ownership-driven culture where every analyst directly influences business strategy and product direction.


As a Business Analyst Intern, you'll spend 12 weeks embedded within a team across our Money and Growth org, getting direct exposure to the metrics, stakeholders, and strategic priorities that drive Robinhood's core business. You'll own real work from day one and build the analytical and cross-functional skills that define our team. Top performers may be extended an offer to join our 18-month rotational Business Analyst program after graduation.


This role is based in our Washington, DC office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems across product strategy, pricing, user segmentation, and risk‑return trade-offs

  • Partner with engineering, product, risk, and finance teams to execute key strategic initiatives and monitor program efficacy

  • Develop analytical models, dashboards, and presentations to inform decision‑making and influence business direction


What you bring


  • Experience or coursework in business analysis, strategy, management consulting, financial services, or a quantitative analytical role

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and quantitative modeling techniques

  • Ability to synthesize complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable recommendations for cross‑functional partners

  • Fluency with AI tools, with a genuine interest in staying current as the tools evolve

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date of Spring/Summer 2028

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.


Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)


$33 - $33 USD
