Job summary

S R INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to lead requirements capture for GRQ legacy applications using AI-assisted tools.

You will craft user stories, data flows, and edge cases, and build traceability matrices and test cases to ensure quality across functions. You will support accessibility testing, collaborate with GRQ Teams and DOH Bureaus, and manage work items via Azure DevOps while using SharePoint for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst writing business requirements and test cases.
• Experience reverse-engineering legacy applications to document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Proficiency in developing user stories, process flows, data flow diagrams, and edge-case scenarios.
• Experience creating comprehensive requirements-based test cases, including functional, regression, security, and accessibility testing.
• Ability to support and perform application testing activities, including executing test cases, documenting defects, and remediation.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify ambiguities, gaps, and risks in requirements.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and leadership.
• Ability to create and maintain traceability matrices linking requirements to test cases, findings, and remediation work.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for rapid drafting of requirements and documentation.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for work item management and traceability.
• Experience using SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Objectives Of Engagement

A full-time Business Analyst (BA), supported by AI tools for acceleration, is requested to focus on the nine highest-priority GRQ legacy applications:

• Reverse-engineer and document current requirements (user stories, processes, data flows, edge cases) using AI-assisted code analysis for rapid initial drafts.
• Develop comprehensive requirements-based test cases (functional, regression, accessibility-specific, and security-focused) and traceability matrices that link scan findings to specific business processes.
• Facilitate WCAG 2.2 accessibility gap analysis and validation of fixes against real business needs.
• This role will collaborate with the DOH Solutions Management GRQ Teams and the DOH Bureaus to build a strong, reusable foundation.

Operational Requirements The contractor will be required to:

• Complete weekly timesheet reporting in PeopleFluent/VectorVMS by COB Friday.
• Provide weekly personal status reporting by COB Friday submitted on SharePoint.
• This position will include reporting to the HHSDC/DOH Solutions Management IT Manager supporting the GRQ applications. The contractor’s work location will primarily be remote with one monthly on-site visit the second Monday of the month.

Contractor Skills And Experience Requirements The Business Analyst must have the following experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst writing business requirements and test cases or 4 years college degree or equivalent technical study.

Coordinates activities across multiple threads and manages risk and issues.

The Business Analyst must have the following skills and abilities:

• Experience in reverse-engineering legacy applications to document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Proficiency in developing user stories, process flows, data flow diagrams, and edge-case scenarios.
• Experience creating comprehensive requirements-based test cases, including functional, regression, security, and accessibility testing.
• Ability to support and perform application testing activities, including executing test cases, validating results, documenting defects, and assisting with remediation efforts.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify ambiguities, gaps, and potential risks in requirements.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to collaborate with program stakeholders, developers, and leadership.
• Ability to create and maintain traceability matrices linking requirements to test cases, findings, and remediation work.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for rapid drafting of requirements, process documentation, and test case generation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple applications, stakeholders, and deliverables across complex initiatives.
• Ability to validate AI-generated content for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business needs.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for work item management, requirements tracking, and test case documentation.
• Experience using SharePoint for document management, collaboration, and artifact storage.
