Technical Business Analyst – Conversational AI (Kore.ai or Equivalent)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience in Conversational and Generative AI platforms, preferably Kore.ai or other enterprise-grade AI platforms, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with retail industry clients, a strong consulting services delivery background, and will be comfortable working in a client-facing environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology consulting/services.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Conversational and Generative AI platforms such as Kore.ai, LivePerson, Amelia, IBM Watson, Google Dialogflow, Microsoft Azure AI, or similar.
- Experience in retail sector projects is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of API integrations, conversational design, and omnichannel solutions.
- Excellent client-facing skills; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working in MNCs/SIs is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for conversational AI solutions, primarily using Kore.ai or equivalent platforms.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with clients to define solution scope.
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Assist in UAT, training, and go-live support.
- Document current and future state processes and prepare technical documentation.
- Regularly engage with stakeholders, presenting progress and capturing feedback.
Key Deliverables:
- Business Requirements Document (BRD): Capturing all client requirements.
- Process Flows & Wireframes: Mapping user journeys for conversational AI.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: For development and QA.
- Gap Analysis & Feasibility Reports: Identifying system/process gaps.
- Functional Specifications Document (FSD): For technical team execution.
- Test Case Documentation: To support UAT and ensure functionality.
- Stakeholder Workshop Reports: Summaries and next steps.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer Materials: Documentation and sessions.
- Change Request Documentation: Scope changes and impact analysis.
