Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is seeking a Business Analyst for Bossier City to gather data from multiple sources, develop reports, and provide analytics on financial and operational processes.

You will forecast staffing, budgets, costs, revenue, and marketing programs while supporting internal customers with accurate reporting. The role emphasizes enhancing reporting through EDW sources, collaboration with the marketing and operations teams, and involvement in budgeting and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in analytical reporting with data mining and analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
• Knowledge of database layouts, tables, joins, and relationships.
• Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Teradata, SAS Data Flux, IGT Table Touch, Bravo Poker, MICROS, PM10, Kronos, Virtual Roster) preferred.
• General SQL or Access knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement programs is a plus.
• Basic accounting experience or education is preferred.
• Ability to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.

The Business Analyst will gather and analyze data from various databases and sources, develop reports and visual representations, and provide analytics of all financial/operational processes within the company. This will include develop reporting and analysis on forecasting/staffing, budgeting, operating/payroll costs, revenue, and Marketing programs.

Must-Haves:

• One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in analytical reporting including development, data mining, and data analysis.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and other advanced calculations/functions is required.
• Knowledge of database layouts including table structures, joins, and relationships
• Experience with the following is preferred but not required: Aristocrat Oasis v12, Tableau, Teradata, SAS Data Flux, IGT Table Touch, Bravo Poker, MICROS, PM10, Kronos, Virtual Roster
• General knowledge of SQL and/or Access would be a plus
• Experience with Continuous Improvement programs is preferred but not required.
• Basic accounting experience or education is preferred but not required.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.

• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time and move up and down steps daily
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and assist guests in the loading and unloading process
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
