Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Lead IT Project Manager to oversee medium to large IT initiatives, guiding sub-projects and deliverables on a rolling basis.

You will steward PM artifacts, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals. The role requires strong executive communication, solid knowledge of server and application architecture, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading IT projects and managing PM artifacts.
• Experience overseeing medium/large scale IT projects and rolling deliverables.
• Managing IT projects using SDLC and business analysis methodologies.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Lead IT Project Manager, in overseeing medium/large scale IT projects and solutions, comprising sub-projects and distinct deliverables on a rolling deliverable basis; responsible for developing and stewarding related IT Project Management artifacts.
• Managing IT projects (as well as formal SDLC and business analysis methodologies) for custom 3-tier web applications, as well as proprietary or customized out-of-the-box systems.
• Knowledge of government IT systems, particularly legacy systems.
• Presenting and communicating with executive level management.
• Managing all aspects of a project, including providing overall guidance and direction, overseeing financial management, and seeing tasks through to completion with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency in reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with technical and non-technical resources.
• Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of server and application architecture.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams to provide the best solution
