San José State University is seeking a Business Analyst to gather requirements, analyze needs, and recommend technical solutions for university departments. The Business Analyst is responsible for the requirements gathering,evaluation, analysis, and recommendation for solutions to meet userand departmental technology needs. The core functions includeconducting needs assessments, identifying requirements, conductinggap analyses, working with developers and vendors, and managingprojects to implement technology solutions.
The Business Analyst will be proactive in their approach todocument and recommend improvements in business processes to ensureusers/departments have the most up-to-date technological solutionsto perform their jobs and serve the university communityeffectively.
This position provides business analysis, project management,custom solution development, support, and overall InformationTechnology expertise.
