Job summary

Insight Global in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Data Analyst for a 1-year contract (potential conversion). The Data Analyst will scrub data using Model N’s Validata module, perform basic SQL, and generate BI reports within the Contract Validation and Analytics team.

You will load and standardize data files, run scrubbing processes, and deliver reports, plus conduct data-driven root cause analysis to resolve discrepancies and identify trends.

Qualifications

• Internship or about 1 year experience as a financial/ business/ data analyst or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs and PivotTables) and Office suite.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Internship and/or approximately 1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Model N, CARS, or other contract management systems
• Experience with contracting, rebates, and/or healthcare
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client is seeking a Data Analyst in Raritan, NJ, 3 days per week. The Data Analyst will be joining the Contract Validation and Analytics team and will be responsible for scrubbing data utilizing Model N’s Validata module, as well as basic SQL and BI reports.

• The Data Analyst will load and standardize data files into Validata, run data scrubbing processes, and produce reports. This resource will also perform data-driven root cause analysis, resolve discrepancies, and evaluate data sets for trending abnormalities.
