Job summary

Brown & Brown in Plano, TX seeks a Business Analyst to partner with business and IT teams to elicit, analyze, and manage requirements that support strategic objectives. You will translate needs into clear, actionable specifications and guide process improvement initiatives.

You’ll coordinate testing (UAT), manage scope and change, and serve as a liaison across teams, delivering measurable value through data-driven insights and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with requirements gathering techniques
• Proficient with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business applications
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience with data visualization and process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Business Analyst certification (Preferred)

This role analyzes processes, workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, evaluates solution options, and serves as a key communication liaison across teams.
