Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst / Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Consultant with a strong background in the banking domain, specifically in Treasury or Corporate Treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of treasury products, processes, systems, and regulatory frameworks. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, contributing to project success through thorough analysis, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with business stakeholders, treasury teams, and technology partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Provide domain expertise on treasury operations including cash management, liquidity, investments, debt, FX, derivatives, and risk management.
Analyze and document current processes and identify opportunities for improvements and automation.
Support the implementation of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or enhancements in existing systems.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Participate in solution design, data mapping, gap analysis, and system configuration.
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and support business users during testing phases.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal controls related to treasury operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Compliance, Risk) to deliver business outcomes.
Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and user manuals.
Stay current on treasury best practices, financial instruments, and relevant banking regulations (e.g., Basel III, IFRS, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in the banking domain, with a strong focus on Treasury / Corporate Treasury.
In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, instruments, and financial markets.
Experience with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Quantum, Kyriba, SAP TRM, or similar).
Strong understanding of financial regulations impacting treasury functions.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, UML, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
