Job summary

Io Datasphere, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Agency with project and work request needs.

The role focuses on serving as the liaison between the Agency and stakeholders and delivering facilitation, elicitation, and process modeling to define strategy and requirements for enhancements. The position requires 7 years of business analysis experience, strong experience in Agile user stories, and the ability to collaborate with senior management to shape roadmaps and resolve

Qualifications

• 7 years – Experience conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling.
• 5 years – Experience developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
• 2 years – Experience working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
• 2 years – Experience working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use

Job description

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both project and work request needs for the Agency. This person will be a critical member of the Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team.

Tasks:

• Being the liaison between the Agency and the project stakeholders
• Provide expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Self-directed, well organized, confident in their ability to build relationships – Quick to come up to speed on new assignments, and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.

Location and Contract:

Lansing, MI Contract: 1 year

NOTE:

Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Wednesdays and Thursdays are required onsite days.
