Job summary

Nucor Corporation seeks a Business Analyst to support and enhance operations at the Fort Wayne, IN location. The role focuses on designing and optimizing business processes, leveraging software and D365 integrations, and coordinating across IT and business teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in software systems and business analysis, with preference for steel/metal industry experience and AI-enabled tooling. Safety and process improvement are central to this role.

Purpose:
We are looking for a business Analyst to support and enhance our operations. If you're a problem-solver who enjoys designing and optimizing business processes utilizing software, we want to hear from you!

Basic Job Functions:

• Support software systems. Assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of software
• Support applications that integrate with Microsoft D365 or other software used at NRF.
• Analyze business needs. Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
• Optimize system performance. Use in-depth functional knowledge business processes to maximize automation and process effectiveness.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Lead discussions between business and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality. Perform quality assurance, data governance activities, and manage process change requests.
• Manage end-to-end projects. Oversee the scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment of projects from start to finish.
• Provide expert guidance. Offer best practices and solution alternatives in functional design documents. Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and education is also acceptable.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Preferences:

• 2-3 years of experience with software systems.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or performing Business Analyst responsibilities. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, reporting, or process optimization.
• Experience in steel or metal related industry.
