The Business Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements to support the delivery of high‑quality technology solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between business partners and technology teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, translated, and traceable through design, build, testing, and release.
The Business Analyst partners closely with Solution Owners, Technical Leads, Project Managers, QA, and Business Subject Matter Experts to ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned to business outcomes. This role operates independently on complex initiatives and contributes to consistent delivery execution through strong analysis, documentation, and communication practices.

Within Sonexus, Business Analysts help ensure Patient Access and Support Services are enabled through well‑defined requirements, clear process understanding, and strong collaboration between business and IT teams—supporting reliable platforms that enable patient journeys, program operations, and client engagements.
Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for assigned initiatives
Manage requirement changes, ensuring traceability, version control, and auditability throughout the delivery lifecycle
Develop clear acceptance criteria, use cases, and user stories that support design, build, and testing activities
Ensure requirements reflect both business needs and downstream operational considerations
Analyze current‑state and future‑state business processes, identifying gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
Create and maintain process flows, functional models, and solution documentation (e.g., workflows, wireframes where applicable)
Understand supported applications and integrations to ensure scope completeness and proper impact analysis
Partner with Solution Owners, Technical Leads, Project Managers, and QA to support end‑to‑end SDLC execution
Contribute to test planning by supporting creation of test scenarios, test cases, and data aligned to requirements
Support business acceptance activities, ensuring delivered solutions meet documented requirements and intended outcomes
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and requirement gaps and communicate impacts clearly
Works on initiatives of moderate to large scope with limited day‑to‑day direction

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
4–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role preferred
Proven experience gathering requirements from non‑technical stakeholders and partnering with technical teams
Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the role of Business Analysis across delivery phases
Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare technology solutions
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Experience writing detailed test cases and supporting QA activities
Proficiency with documentation tools and standard desktop applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $115,500
