Job summary

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Energy & Utilities domain expertise and working knowledge of GIS / spatial data to support a major utilities client in Dallas, TX.

Business Analyst experience within the Energy & Utilities domain

Strong understanding of Electric, Gas, Water, or Renewable Energy operations

Requirements Gathering & Business Requirements Documentation

Business Process Analysis & Process Mapping

Use Case Development & Functional Specifications

Good understanding of SDLC & Agile methodologies

Working knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial data & utility network mapping

Experience collaborating with Developers, Architects & GIS Specialists

Strong analytical, problem-solving & communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Esri ArcGIS, Hexagon Intergraph, or similar GIS platforms

Utility Digital Transformation project experience

Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong Business Analysis + Utilities Domain + GIS knowledge and are comfortable working onsite in Dallas, TX, 3–5 days per week.
