Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong financial services and fixed income experience to support business analysis and process improvement initiatives within an asset management environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable entering a complex business area, building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding current operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating findings into a clear book of work and actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Fixed income asset management experience.
• Strong business process mapping and documentation experience.
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions.
• Ability to gather, organize, and document business requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience identifying gaps, manual processes, dependencies, and areas lacking clear process ownership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis and discovery across key asset management and fixed income business functions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate stakeholder needs into actionable work.
• Map current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and capabilities.
• Develop process flows, business process diagrams, capability maps, and other visual documentation to clearly communicate how the business operates.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and increased efficiency.
• Build and maintain a prioritized book of work based on business needs, opportunities, and areas of highest value.
